Mexico Turquesa
Turquesa coffee comes from the southern Mexican state of Chiapas
Description
Chiapas Turquesa, or turquoise, takes its name from the precious blue-green gemstone that was revered by both the Aztecs and Toltecs. This coffee comes from smallholder producers who deliver to the San Cristobal de las Casas and Yajalón buying stations in northern Chiapas Meticulously sorted and processed, the result is a well balanced cup loaded with delightful flavor. This is a high grown coffee, but because of the hot climate the coffee matures quickly, giving it characteristics that are unique and not typical of a high grown coffee bean. This coffee has medium body, is very bright, with a milk-chocolate and mild nutty taste with a clean, sweet finish.
