Description

Mexico El Búho  (Boo-oh) is grown in Los Altos, the northeast highlands of Chiapas. In case you’re wondering, El Búho means “the owl”, or “tecolotl”, which is a symbolic animal of the Mayan ancestors of the people that produce this coffee today.

High grown, this coffee exhibits lots of stone fruit characteristics such as peach, apricots, nectarines and plums. Savory body with a clean finish.  We roast it to a point where milk chocolate notes start to appear but does not overpower the unique flavor nuances this coffee has to offer.
