Ethiopia lies in the high plateau region between the Nile plains of Eritrea and Sudan with altitudes up to 4,600 meters above sea level in the Semien Mountains. The Harrar region likes in the Eastern Highlands and is one of the main coffee growing regions in Ethiopia. Harrar coffee beans are typically natural, or “sun dried” processed which produces distinct berry-like notes in which the region is best recognized for. This particular lot is no different. For the connoisseur, this coffee has distinct raisin, blueberry, and vanilla notes combined with a silky smooth body.
