you're French, one cannot easily pronounce this
name properly. So we'll just pronounce it "eye-you",
which will get us in the ballpark (somewhere
way out in left field). Despite the difficult
name, this is an amazing coffee with berry-like
tones to it, yet they are not overpowering.
Hints of dark chocolate and lots of sweetness
round out this natural sun-dried coffee making
it an excellent choice for all kinds of brewing
preparations, pour-over, drip, espresso, French
press. Silky body.
from the Awi Zone located in Northwestern Ethiopia.
We found this way off the beaten path where
most Ethiopian coffees tread down (Yirgacheffe,
Harrar, Gimma, etc.). This one comes from a
part of the land it can claim all it's own,
yet it retains a lot of character its North
African cousins share.
