Sol Nascente, meaning "Rising Sun". This coffee is also offered as under our "Single Origin" coffee heading, however our espresso version is roasted a little darker using a completely different roast profile. A "roast profile" can be described as a graph showing time and temperature relationships during the roast cycle. The purpose of a roast profile is to help the roaster (human) bring out the best flavor characteristics a particular type of bean has to offer.

The cup is silky smooth with bittersweet nutty overtones. Mild fragrance, medium bodied with a nice finish. Some types of coffees shine their best "unblended". This is definitely one of them. Medium-dark roast.
